RPG Games

Spore is a game where you pretend that you’re god and that you start to nurture an Alien species that you “evolve”.  This is all about survival and is heavily borrowed from the theory of Darwin.

You first start out as a cell as you can see now, here you can choose to become a herbivore, omnivore, or a carnivore.  You must eat what you usually eat and survive while escaping the other larger predator cells.  This is called the cell stage

After this you begin the creature stage, when your cell becomes humongous enough to grow into a creature.  You can choose what type of limbs and mouths you can have so that you can adapt to your new environment.  Your interaction and behavior with other creatures will determine your social status and popularity to other creatures and your relationships.

Later on you will go on to become a stage which is called the tribal stage.  This is when you actually are able to set up a colony of your own so that you could become your tribe chief or something greater.  You must interact with other tribes in order to maintain good relationships and support from your people.

Now after your done with the tribal stage, you finally go into the civilization stage.  This is close to basically what modern humans were around in the 1900s.  This is when you focus mainly on your building your city.  Then you start to build up your economy so that you can prosper in this city.  You would also build vehicles for military combat and workers who would fix your city when it needs it.

The stage I’m gonna talk about now is the last stage.  Its called the Space stage.  This is when you actually get to build a spaceship and get to travel to other planets.  You will get to see the entire galalxy and be able to build more cities on other planets adding it to your empire.  After you get to the center of the universe, you will encounter a hostile alien race called the Grox who are short little imp-like creatures that have an empire over 5000 planets.
